I was surprised when I saw this photo from Artefact’s post on Sankaku Complex, because this is truly an abnormal photo of Aya Hirano. I suspect this isn’t real since I hadn’t found this photo on bomb.tv, but perhaps people who have seen all the bomb.tv photobooks might be able to confirm it. If I am wrong, as I have been many times, then this photo must be a treat for those Aya Hirano fans out there.

Aya Hirano in a cute pink dress in the latest WPB No. 13 (the same issue with Yumi Sugimoto that Hideki posted earlier).

Thanks to hanhan for this informative post on Aya Hirano In Borneo Post. You may recall the otaku hype when Aya Hirano visited Malaysia in December.
A daily newspaper, named the Boreno Post, has an advertisement in the classified section, which steals Aya-chan’s image to sell laptops with government discounts.

Here’s Aya Hirano in Young Animal No. 9, which was published in May 2008. Thanks to long-time friend of the site, Aadx of Jappydolls, for sending me this magazine

It feels like an eternity since Aya Hirano was last seen in a magazine. In the newest edition of the magazine Pick-up-Voice, photos of her Riot Tour 1st Live 2008 are shown.

It looks like when Aya-chan goes traveling, she needs to worry about more than just terrorism. The likelihood of her being killed or kidnapped by Otaku is surprisingly high. Artefact posted an article on how Malaysian Otakus are stalking Aya Hirano, when she was discovered on their home turf.

Here is Aya Hirano “dancing” in the Nintendo Wii trailer for Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekidou (The Excitement of Haruhi Suzumiya). If you saw her live performance of Hare Hare Yukai, you would know that she can dance pretty well. However, she doesn’t seem to be dancing enthusiastically in this commercial. Aren’t you suppose to flail your arms wildly when you have a Wiimote?
I’m only moderately impressed with her dance moves in this commercial

Artefact’s frequently preyed on idol, Aya Hirano, seems to be under some controversy after some detailed pantsu analysis by money hungry photographers. Aya-chan needed to defend herself in an interview to dismiss rumours that she was wearing a thong. Unlike other gravure idols, who would probably need to defend themselves for not wearing a thong, some idols just have it bad…
