Thanks to Locutis for this AKB48 news. Why all the Chun-Li cosplaying? According to Locutis, “they are promoting the new Street fighter movie. Based on Kotaku the 10 members are Minami Takahashi, Amina Satoh, Minami Minegishi, Yukari Satoh, Natsuki Sato, Tomomi Kasai, Ayaka Umeda, Megumi Ohori, Sayaka Akimoto and Natsumi Matsubara.”

Mai Oshima is a member of AKB48, which might be surprising to some, as she’s born in 1987 and is almost double the age of some other members in the group. This magazine, known as ヤングアニマル is called Young Animal in English (I’m not making this up…just look at the cover). They can come up with clever uses of Mai but I guess they couldn’t think of a less degrading magazine title.
