Namie Amuro, one of my favourite J-pop singers, was in the latest issue of Glamorous in a rather artistic photo set.

I’ve heard of her before, and I think I’ve heard a song or two as well. She’s quite pretty, and that last shot is really cool. I like how she seamlessly blends into the background.

@Kafkaesque! – I’ve been a fan of her since my friend showed me her “Put em up” MV around 5-6 yaers ago

I bought her Play concert DVD too :)

@epo – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HN0EKrYKO0Q you should try that song, it’s one of her best songs and it’s Christmas themed

@Steve She was the reason I caught the asian(japanese) fever. A friend showed me some of her music around 6-7 years ago.
Thanks for bringing this memory back^^

The pictures are inspired by the paintings of Alphonse Mucha, one of the pioneers of the Art Nouveau movement at the turn of the last century.

@Astaroth – glad I could bring back some memories :)

@Jericho – thanks for the information. I know nothing about art, but it looks like you know quite a bit to provide such a detailed response ^^
