So far this month, five magazines have had Nozomi Sasaki as the cover girl: PINKY, Weekly Playboy, Smart, Weekly Young Jump, and The Television Weekly. Although some magazines are for December, they were all released this month. It looks like her upcoming movie has landed her in many magazines, so let’s hope she makes more of them
Update: apparently she’s not done yet, she was on the cover of two additional magazines as well (that makes seven!)
Update 2: thanks to Tyler for translating the name of the first magazine as The Television Weekly

It’s cause Nozomi is so amazingly cute and adorable.
Wow Nozomi is so popular now ^^,
hehe… Nozomi says that scenes like where she is eating ramen and talking naturally are difficult. Also, playing a 17 year old while being 21 is difficult. I hope her movie comes out well! I will watch it =)
It’s not about love, popularity or anything — but PUBLICITY.
Such as a result of hard work by the film producers, her agency, etc.
It’s all about Japanese teamwork — as usual.
IMO, someone in her agency must have worked really hard to put it all together this month.
Kudos to them.
Yeah… this is her first acting experience so its important for sure for the movie to be successful. I agree with アーシーエーTYLER様.
If her head wasn’t in the way I’d be able to read it, but I like her head being where I can see it
By the hoo, big KUDOS 2 “da Man” for including the interview and fil . . ., er I mean, moooovie synopsis pages.
Takin’ bout differentiation, to me, “film” & “mooovie” are different. “Saving Ryan’s Pr . . ., er I mean, . . .Saving P. R.,” for instance, is a film, while Transf-rm-r a mooovie.
All m’ babbling aside, the bottom line is that I’ll watch it, too, ‘cos it’s Jpnse, not b-cos it’s Nzmi.
@WoW
They don’t seem to be very difficult roles. Let’s hope she does well as an actress though.
Nozomi is perfect.
thank you for shareing
@Entice
She says she forgot what is was like to be 17 =P hehe… I think she’ll be fine =)
Not just Japanese magazine who loves Nozomi even me truly, madly, deeply… Hihi
@Tyler – hopefully the movie will be good, otherwise all that money spent for publicity will be a waste (although her fans get nice photos to ogle over)
Steve,
I’ve learnt — NOW! — that you’ve been inquiring into the name of that (first) mag!
Pls tell moi u’re JUST kiddin’
I mean I thought many people here study Japanese (the name of the mag is just basic katakana — I knew it by birth lol)
Drum pls . . . da dum da dum da dum . . .
(WEEKLY) THE TELEVISION
or
(WEEKLY) zaterebishon
Now, I want my M-rc-d-s BENZ LOL
the fact nozomi is in it is good enough to make it good, she looks amazing as usual.
She’s definitely adorable!
Japanese magazines have great taste.
@Tyler – despite the large number of Japanese, Korean, and Chinese sites I visit, I don’t know any of those languages…so I kid you not when I need a translation
Steve,
How r u doin’?
First of all, it’s just a figure-o-speech.
Anyhoo, lookin’ back at what I said on item no. 13, I couldn’t help but thinking I might be a bit too lordly! So, if I offended anyone in process, I didn’t mean it (sorry).
Glad to see you were in good mood by the hoo.
Again, the title is The Television Weekly, or Za Terebishon Weekly.
Unfortunately, somehow this mag is not well-known in N. Amrc (so do I believe); so, I’m not sure if this helps . . .
Oh Tyler, I would never get angry at you
By the hoo, there’s nothing wrong with some light hearted poking
Thank you for the title, I think Za Terebishion Weekly sounds about right
xDDD noizomi never ceases to amaze me, lol
but how comes shes so popular all of a sudden now?
i am over joyed at teh fact dont get me wrong, but any reason?
no clue i want to know as well fob, i been a fan of hers from the moment i saw her, well not just a fan. fell in love with her. i would happily marry her
fob fob fob bob x immy x other Nozomi fans,
She’s now having a silver-screen movie in theatre nationwide (in Japan). Featuring her (pix and/or scoop) in J mags last month and this month represents one of the usual concerted publicity efforts made by film producers and her agency, to name but two. It’s virtually all about publicity (and good connection amongs people in the industry).
And, since “da MAN” (aka Le Steve), moi-thinks, is her big fan, too, it’s natural to expect more — if any — to come up on RCA during this time (I’m not speaking on his behalf, though — I’m just trying to be smartaxx reading his mind, lol).
Somebody told me she had a boyfriend who looks like a girlfriend . . . la la la
