I was surprised to find out that Kim Ha Yul and Ryu Ji Hye would be featured in a music video by Smokie J entitled Players. However, as it turns out, this may be one of the most frustrating Korean music videos you will ever see. For the love of God, if you’re going to hire KHY and RJH for a music video please show them for more than 30 seconds! Perhaps they ran out of funds when they requested a cleavage shot of RJH. You may recall how much better Kim Ha Yul was used in the Give You Everything MV.

If you don’t want to suffer through Korean rap, here are some shots of them from the video

Holy sh*t that was awful. I wouldn’t mind punching the small guy in the suit right in his mouth either.

  2. drknkook says:

I thought I was fairly fluent in korean, but I have absolutely no idea what the heck is being said in the mv. And yes, not enough KHY and RJH in the mv.

  3. Rafail says:

Let’s sabotage this macho, ridiculous, and plagist as…ole

    No music, no talent,
    No art…

He must show respect to “our” ladies…

  4. Neo says:

KHY & RJH don’t belong in such a video, nor do the rappers deserve to have them in their video. The Untouchables video was in much better taste. They still looked beautiful, but kinda reminded me of girls in the wrong neighborhood type of deal.

  5. Steve says:

They certainly don’t have much respect for our ladies, but at least they didn’t make them shake their booty near their faces like in some US rap music videos. If they did that, someone would probably shoot them…adding to some much needed street cred

For players, they sure lack females in their MV XD

  6. Ma Jie Mao says:

I know money is money, but I wish KHY and RJH had better taste then to be in a cRap video

  7. Mattias says:

I will not comment on that horrid piece of *hit of rap. But, that cleavage just OWNS!!! RJH > KHY in this MTV.

  8. Holy Toast says:

Wow…. Just.. Wow… That was so bad, I don’t even know what to say. My god. That’s not musical talent, there are no instruments!

ANYWAY, yeah the girls….. They are so better than this piece of shit.

@ drknkook – Be happy you didn’t understand it.

I think it’s time to go listen to some real music (heads off to listen to various power metal bands)

Nothing flashy just real musical talent –

    I always enjoy J pop/rock.
Neither do I have any problem enjoying
    K pop/rock or C pop/rock (US/Br(i-)/Fr/Sp/ et al) . . .

I find these K dudes, to an extent, talented.
To me, they know how “to groove”
    to the so-called hip-hop music
& understand their time signature et al.

Both girls could have interacted more frequently
with other characters on the screen
(IMO, either editing, directing or both as the problem).

I wish I could understood the lyrics
so as to understand the real intent,
and to enjoy more of their music.

  11. Johan says:

  13. Kim Yong Ki says:

    Ohh myy gooddd!
    Whatt thee helll!
    is happening hereee
    I can’t believe what I saw
    Ryu Ji-Hye is been harass
with that son of a *****
    ohh come onnnn
    how come that brutality
    happened…
    bull****

  14. Not flaming just explaning says:

. . . I’m not flaming or anything, but how can you just judge them like that? You can’t just judge an artist if you don’t even know what they’re saying. . .

Kim Hayul and Ryu Jihye is there just to fit in the concept. . Dok2, Double K, Bizzy and etc. (all from the movement (major hiphop company)) and are true rappers to thoses who understand real hiphop/music. Lol seriously, calling this false music/hiphop show your stupidity in the music/hiphop culture. Calling this false music/hiphop is like calling Ryu jihye and kim hayul ugly (which they AREN’T).

The fact that you’re just sitting there in front of the computer being obessive over a model and bashing on other guys who do stuff like this with them, makes you lower than their level. Just grow up and be mature. Half of you are probably just bashing because you’re jealous. . . None of us here has a chance with any models on this site . . . Just grow up and mature and stop the bashing because that shows your immaturity. . . At least show a reasoning if you do bash. .

  15. Not flaming just explaning says:

btw, they arent there in the MV to be stared at all day. They’re just to fit in with the concept, the main point in the MV is to focus on the main artist. If they did show the models the whole time, thats just defeating the whole purpose of their MV.
