Right now she’s 19… Her birthday is april 1st…

All these people fighting for her love! When I found out how young she was, I was quite surprised. She looks like she’s at least low 20s.
Then I guess I’m #4. :p
does she have any J-Drama besides `Boys Este` ? (Hideki must know her career more than anyone cause he is #1 fan) :p
She appears at the second episode of Coin Locker Monogatari… And the Movie Special 100 Scene no Koi…
And i agree, she’s so young but that smile… just melt my heart *¬*…
Whether I will be the no. 2 fan or the no. 1,000,000 fan, she will always be the Number One in my heart. *^O^* Ho ho ho . . .

My response:
Well, I have to say, that is not nice, eh? (Are you trolling for pure pleasure? Because this is at least the second time you imply that she may be older than she is projected publicly to be. Either way, I’m more than willing to take the bait.)
Just because she is NOT wearing a heavy makeup all the time; just because she has NEVER been overly self-conscious of how she looks in public; just because she is COMFORTABLE with her own self and seen occasionally in an inexpensive T-shirt, and even with NO makeup at all; just because she “still looks WITTY and INTELLIGENT,” not to mention BEAUTIFUL like an angel regardless even though the Power that Be insensibly occasionally make her pose like a brainless doll; just because she SHINES THROUGH everywhere she goes and brings out all Grace and Smiles about her in process; just because she IS LOVED by all of the world; just because of some mistaken photographic work; just because of some unfortunate tricks of light, . . ., it does not give us Licence (freedom) to bash her the way we want, IMO!
The term “idol” exists for reasons, and one of those reasons is for each of us, a fortunate mortal soul, to admire, to love and respect, and to worship one.
And Little Princess Yumi is the one and only idol of mine; not to mention that she means the World and therefore is Everything to “me”.
To take away from her an Honour, Pride and Respectability would be to take away the world and everything from me, which naturally means I will be left with “nothing” in my life.
This is doubtless the longest post in here, not to mention, possibly, the silliest-looking to most readers here (which I don’t give a fig); but I am really hopping mad now!

The lack of ratings is not Yumi’s Fault… Maybe the script was silly or something else…
@Steve: I actually think Yumi looks her age, in a sea of idols that seem to be going out of their way to look like lolis. Creates an illusion, so to speak, that she looks older than her age, when she really doesn’t.
And she doesn’t look bad at all. Keep it up, Hideki, and *I’LL* be her #1 fan, the rest of y’all can grovel at my feet.

@Tyler – Before I saw her birthday, I just assumed that she was over 20 based on viewing photos of other < 20 yr old Japanese idols (based on face structure and how she’s very developed).
Plus it is my wishful thinking to have idols I love closer to my age
