Photo Scavenger Hunt Suggestions

The glasses scavenger hunt is doing well, as there have been many contributions in the glasses girl thread already. I had agreed to girls wearing gloves to CW for the next photo hunt (a challenge!), but I’ll need some help figuring out what to do for future scavenger hunts. Feel free to leave a comment with some suggestions :)

I’ll try to announce a photo scavenger hunt every week on Friday and give 2 weeks to find photos. That means there will always be an overlap between two scavenger hunts and it also means that every Friday there will be a nice special to get your weekend started ;) We’ll see how it goes, hopefully it’ll work out.

Some examples are:
yukie_kawamura_3

Girls lying down, inspired by Yukie Kawamura on Neil Duckett

nozomi-kimono

Kimono girls, inspired by Artefact’s delicious kimono failure (beware of a girlfriend/wife slap if she sees this)

japanese-race-queen

Race queens, inspired by Aadx’s post on Manami Yamaguchi

mikie-hara-office01

Office girls like Mikie Hara

school-gal

School girls (too easy?)

yu-haebe-popsicle

Girls eating food, like Yu Hasebe, with a focus on euphemisms

hwang-mi-hee-gunslinger-girl-12

Kick ass girls: girls with weapons (guns, swords, heavy-bottom pans, etc.)

School girl theme would be too easy. All I would have to do is look in my hard drive .. I mean *looks around*

School girls is *way* too easy. You can’t avoid school girl pics in the world of cute asian girls. It’s impossible. Really.

I could most certainly live with a kimono girls scavenger hunt.

Girls wearing very casual summer dresses or skirts with a tank top is something I’d also really, really like as well. (Case in point, first pic in the “all about nozomi” post)

I think the schoolgirl thing is too easy and a bit cliched, but I’ll gladly play along. I think kimono girls is a great idea. I have some great “girls with guns” pics but I don’t think I have any with swords!

How about girls dressed in particular colors? Pick an unusual color, like purple or orange, to make it more challenging. Just a thought…

@CW – finding Japanese girls in casual clothing is definitely hard! I do like the idea of dresses and skirts.

@manacaca – for these scavenger hunts, the general “implied” rules are: they are professional models, non-nude, and over 18…but definitely we do need one!

@iQuE – something about swords and girls intrigues me…maybe because in order for her to kill me, she’ll have to get close to me first XD (it just wouldn’t be fun to get sniped by Hwang Mi Hee)

@kouk – I’m not sure, I found her on a Japanese Tumblr blog a long time ago.

@ffSeeD – cosplay will definitely happen in the future!

@tiger seven – I’ve seen lots of Korean girls with swords, not so much for Japanese girls. As for colours, that’s a great idea!

Nozomi has quite a few casual pics, as does Yuko, Ami Tokito has a few, etc. And that’s just Japanese. I’ve found a few pics of Mikako in such dress that give me a heavy dose of the butterflies…the list goes on and on. :D
