After 672 posts at the old Really Cute Asians blog, it’s time to switch to a better blogging platform. The switch to WordPress results in a lot of new features.
Some new features include:
- Better support for multiple authors
- Post view count
- Simpler main page
- Better social bookmarking support
- Similar/related posts (to be added soon)
- Improved comment wall (no more CBox)
Even though this blog will need to start at 0 page rank and 0 Technorati authority, it will be interesting to start over again. The original site was started on November 27, 2007 and got 420K unique vistors, 1.67 million page views, and an avarage of 3.4K unique visitors/day on the day of the switch. Hopefully in time, this new site will regain that traffic.
I made a lot of changes to this template, so if anything messes up…it’s probably my fault 
I tested the site using Firefox 3, IE 6.0, and Google Chrome 1.0 and it appears to be okay.
The current Christmas-themed banner was made by Mattias of Idol Retouch.
